What is MHCP:
Military Healing Creative Processes started with painting for charity under the name Mental Health Charity Painters through the miniature art community. Their first fundraiser was for the PTSD Foundation of America in late 2020. The overwhelmingly positive response highlighted a deep need for art-based mental health support, particularly Art Therapy. Prince, the founder of MHCP, paints to help with his PTSD recovery. After the immense success of their first fundraiser, MHCP was at it again and raised money for CCM (Cornerstone Counseling Ministries) on their second fundraising journey featuring the dynamic miniature statue Tenjin, created by Blackforge Games. In January 2022, Prince took over the charity full time creating MHCP with artist, John aka Punexpected_Painting, all while launching a new campaign. In 2023 Prince applied to turn MHCP into a nonprofit organization and expanding its scope to include more ways to reach those in need, to include ruck marches, races, and more. Since becoming a non profit MHCP has raised enough to donate a total of $70,000 dollars and now focuses on two major charities, Stop Solider Suicide and The Head Strong Project, two well known charities that directly support Veterans’ Mental Health.

Prince “Knuckelhead” Yohannes
Founder & President, Military Healing Creative Processes (MHCP)
Prince “Knuckelhead” Yohannes is a retired U.S. Army Senior Noncommissioned Officer who dedicated more than 22 years of service to the nation. Throughout his military career, he developed a passion for leadership, mentorship, and helping others overcome adversity. He holds a Master of Arts in Leadership and Management along with a Graduate Certificate in Project Management, combining academic knowledge with decades of real-world leadership experience.
As the Founder and President of Military Healing Creative Processes (MHCP), Prince has devoted himself to raising awareness for veteran mental health and creating positive outlets for healing through art, hobbies, gaming, physical wellness, and community engagement. MHCP was built on the belief that creative expression and meaningful connections can help veterans and service members navigate life’s challenges while fostering resilience and hope.
Beyond his leadership work, Prince is a creative artist known by the name “Profyle. and Apollo Vulcan Mars” He has spent years writing music, poetry, and spoken-word pieces that reflect his experiences, personal growth, and commitment to helping others. He is also a published author and continues to use creative writing as a way to inspire, educate, and advocate for mental health awareness.
An avid hobbyist and lifelong gamer, Prince enjoys miniature painting, tabletop gaming, and connecting with others through the hobby community. Painting miniatures has become one of his most effective tools for managing PTSD, promoting mindfulness, and building lasting friendships. Through MHCP events and charity initiatives, he combines his love of the hobby with his mission of supporting veterans and raising funds for mental health organizations.
Vice President : John, aka Punexpected_Painting, rediscovered the painting hobby in 2017 after more than a 10-year hobby hiatus. Thanks to coming across Twitch and its many wonderful painters, he started painting with acrylics as most do. In 2020 he began using oils and quickly found himself using the traditional medium almost exclusively. He spreads the love of oils across Twitch, encouraging other painters out there to try something new. Painting is his happy place and Art Therapy is his medicine of choice when he is working through problems in life.
Outreach Executive: Michael Sibilia is a community leader and real estate professional with over two decades of experience building relationships and supporting others. His passion for mental health advocacy comes from personal experience growing up in a household shaped by the lasting effects of military service after his stepfather returned from Vietnam. Witnessing those struggles — and ultimately losing his stepfather to suicide — gave Mike a lifelong commitment to helping veterans, families, and individuals facing mental health challenges find support, connection, and hope.
Manufacturing Executive: Scott Brinley is a manufacturing systems and operations leader with more than 20 years of experience leading large-scale organizational transformations that help teams operate more effectively. He is focused on applying those skills in service of others, particularly veterans facing mental health challenges. Scott is passionate about strengthening programs, improving access to support, and contributing to efforts that help veterans feel seen, supported, and connected before they reach a point of crisis.
Scott is a lifelong artist and has been active in the hobby community since 2016, building epic dioramas, printing large scale models, and creative displays that support TTRPGs and wargaming. He is excited to combine these passions in meaningful outreach support for veterans.
